Marble tilework is clad around in a circle, completing the round-shaped pavilion of @hyggecafe.bsd (Instagram) . The circular shape provides a rare 360° view of the cityscape to the interior while also concluding the intersection with its pure geometry as a new landmark.

The renovation utilizes the existing structure and enhances its features using mostly overlooked materials as finishing. The radial steel structure is left exposed and becomes the overarching background for the whole interior. Wood planks commonly used as concrete formwork take center stage, paired with acid mirror glass covering the bar.

The pure and simple geometry is presented as a counterbalance to its backdrop, while the marble tiles give weight and scale down the form.
