DDD Residence
Karawaci, Tangerang, 2023

Brick screen enveloped the additional volumes of the renovation project. The volumes and the spatial arrangements follow the existing structure frame as if it grew from the old house. The renovation seeks to utilise most of the original house without compromising the requirements and flow of the space. Openings are laid strategically onto its walls making the most out of the existing structure and filling the interior with light.

A Japanese-inspired genkan bridges the user into the house, leading into the open living, dining and pantry area, the gentle-coloured interior is backgrounded by lush greeneries paired with textured plaster and red bricks.
